Shabbos. (and "planned overs"). Prep!

Updated: Oct 27, 2022

Watch the video below for a peek into my kitchen while I'm prepping for Shabbos and for leftovers to use for the week ahead.

Here's some of what I'm making this week:

  • Roasted mini peppers (Pour on low sodium veg broth and spices. Bake in preheated 400 oven till desired doneness.)

  • Roasted acorn squash (Pierce a few holes in the skin with a knife. Wrap in parchment paper and then in foil. Bake at 350 until soft to touch, about 30-40 mins.)

  • Water sautéed onions,to use in my cholent and in next week's soups and entrees

  • Chewy banana oatmeal cookies (download the recipe below). Great way to use up those sweet and speckled bananas!
