A serving of lentils, part of the legume family, are chock full of protein, provide 30% of your daily iron requirement, and contain negligible fat.


These Gefen organic lentils are cooked and ready to eat which makes them one of my favorite convenience foods and a great pantry staple. Having them on hand makes it easy to add them into my repertoire of yummy plant based meals.


These lentils are great for easy prep in soups, stews, or on top of whole grain rice and veggies in a grain bowl. There's a lentil soup recipe on the back.
