Full of healthy fats and all clean ingredients, these avocados come mashed and seasoned so they are ready to pull out for Shalosh Seudos or any time.
Great on whole spelt matza with tomato slices, sprouts or spinach leaves, a dip for crudite, or as the base for this great avocado salad below. Freeze leftovers in mini containers for the kids to grab for school lunches or snacks.
Kitchen Hack: When these go on sale, buy a few extra and keep frozen to pull out and defrost when needed.
Although this product is pricier than just mashing avocados on your own, avocados can be unreliable, either unripe, overripe, or riddled with brown spots. This is a product you can keep on hand for any time you need.
Here's my go to avocado salad recipe. I love to send this for simchos, especially for very hungry Friday afternoon company!
1 pkg guacamole
1 container colorful grape tomatos, washed and halved
1/2 jar hearts of palm, rinsed and sliced
1/2 red onion, chopped
Season to taste if needed.
Mix and serve immediately. Enjoy L'chvod Shabbos!
