Chronic. Cough?

One whats app participant asked me if apple cider vinegar would be helpful for her 5 year old's chronic cough.

According to the Harvard Health Blog, children can consume one to two teaspoons (5-10ml) of apple cider vinegar diluted in a glass of water before meals, (I recommend drinking it about 20 mins before) or served during meals with a food item, like in salad.

While I am not professing to be a doctor, these charts offer some other natural remedies I have used for myself and my family with great success, BH. (For the turmeric, I just add it to my tea or foods and leave out the milk part.)

And don't forget about the cleansing and healing benefits of fresh-squeezed lemon juice with all its natural vitamin C or the Throat Coat tea which I find super helpful. Just note that lemon juice is acidic, which means it can cause enamel erosion to our teeth. Ways to enjoy it and get the benefits without damaging your teeth are to drink it with a straw, use room temperature water instead of hot, and rinse your mouth with plain water after drinking.

Both 'cough' charts have ideas for adults and kids alike.

Wishing everyone the best of health!
